In a recent dialogue shared by the Asantehene Nana Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, he indicated some top personalities within the country are involved in these illegal activities that have become rampant in our communities.

An active member of the ruling party (NPP), who goes by the name Kate Gyamfua, got eight of his excavators burnt for engaging in ‘Galamsey’ activities. Currently, Kate is the women’s organizer for the New Patriotic Party.
One thing that baffles me is why an active member of the ruling party will fall victim to such an offense.
