Bayern Munich Ends Jerome Boateng’s Contract Amid UEFA Championship
Management of Bayern Munich have indicated they will not offer a contract extension for Jerome Boateng.
This means the German international will become a free agent, prior to the final game of the UEFA Champions League.

Jerome’s departure coinciding with the exit of defensive partner David Alaba will emerge as a change in the defensive selection of the Bavarians as they seek to inject younger players into the teams squad.
Bayern Munich have already secured 22-year-old Dayot Upamecano and could dip further into the center back market in a couple of months.
