Marriage is a union that brings joy to not only couples involved, but to both families who have their relatives committed to the union.
Usually, marriage happens in different ceremonies depending on either the beliefs or customs of the bride to be.
In the African setting, the traditional marriage ceremony that take place at the house of the bride’s father is considered the most legitimate and traditionally acknowledged type.

Though this factuality has been embraced by most countries in Africa, there are a lot of people who are still insistent on the organization of a white wedding to compliment the union of the couple.
Currently, the white wedding is what is considered the church wedding. It’s a foreign custom that has been adopted by the African continent due to similarities in Christian beliefs.
