BlueCrest University College is a tertiary institution located in the heart of Accra. Specifically, the university is located at Kokomlemle around the Kwame Nkrumah Circle area.

The institution focuses mainly on educating students in information technology and fashion.

BlueCrest university was established in 2000 as the leading force in IT education with the prime objective of addressing the IT needs of Ghana. The institution has affiliations with the University Of Education, Winneba.

In 2012, BlueCrest gained full accreditation from the National Accreditation Board (NAB) to operate as tertiary education institution.

The institution has become very popular in Ghana due to the variety of programmes offered to students.

In 2013, the institution had its first batch of students graduating after offering programmes Bsc. In Information Technology and a cohort of IT Engineers.

In 2014, the university signed a strategic collaboration with the University of Sunderland to offer Postgraduate programmes in Computing, Information Systems and Information Technology.

In 2015, BlueCrest university launched the School of Fashion Design to help provide students with tuition on Fashion Design.

The school offers a 4-Year Bachelor Of Science degree programme in Fashion Design for both Ghanaian and Non-Ghanaian students.

Fashion Design programmes offered by BlueCrest are provided to create a responsible designer who will serve the country and the society by innovation, education and research.

The institution is opened for lectures from Monday to Saturday within the hours of 9am to 8pm. However, lectures held on Saturday ends at exactly 6pm.
