The Cameroonian national team exited the 2022 World Cup with their heads held up high as they managed to beat Brazil by a one goal margin in their final group game.

The match which resulted in the Africans recording one of their most historic wins led to the captain of the Cameroonian team being sent off after he received a red card for taking off his shirt while celebrating his remarkable goal.

In line with World Cup records, Vincent Aboubakar has equalled Zinedine Zidane’s World Cup record emerging as the only to score and be sent off via a red card booking at the apex tournament.
