Ghanaian dancehall genius, Shatta Wale has thrown his weight behind Sarkodie over a recent comment he made about Ghanaian DJs. In addition to the support shown, Shatta Wale has asked fans to clap for him because it’s a wake up call.
In a recent video shared by the multiple award-winning rapper, he stated that Ghanaian DJs want their musicians to rise up to the level of Nigerian artists.
However, they’ve forgotten these Nigerian artists have DJs all over Africa who are pulling strings together to get their musicians recognized on the international.
In relation to this sentiments shared by the Saara hitmaker, Shatta has asked fans to clap for Sarkodie, stating that his recent disclosure is seriously a wake up call for Ghanaian DJs to rise and makes moves to ensure Ghanaian musicians gain the exact level of acknowledgement Nigerian artists are accustomed to on the international front.
