Covid-19 Kills Ghana Railway Authority CEO


The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Railway Authority, Mr. Richard Diedong Dombo has reportedly been killed by the deadly coronavirus infection.

Mr. Diedong contracted the virus in January and appeared to have recovered.

He was observing the two weeks self-isolation until he passed on late in the night yesterday.

Mr. Richard was appointed by his excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, as the GRDA CEO in 2017.

He also played an essential role in revamping Ghana’s railways sector, during the first term of Nana Akufo-Addo’s presidential tenure.

His sudden demise has emerged as a massive blow to the Railway Authority and the whole of Ghana.
