Dede, who currently plays for a popular football club in Qatari league named Al Sadd, to will be leading the senior national team of Ghana to their fourth World Cup tournament after they managed to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup play-offs on away-goal advantage basis.

In a viral video, the Black Stars captain was seen glittering in the jersey of the national team as he appeared in ball possession inferring from posture in the photo identified on the billboards.
