Within Last Week, There was a special congregation at UCC in honour of His Excellency The President Of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. The sole aim of the congregation is to honour Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo With Philosophy Of Doctorate Degree For Introducing Free Senior High school.

President Akuffo-Addo used that opportunity to commission a newly built central administration block for the institution and also cut sod for the commencement of New Students Hall which will be named after Him.
