MP for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Hon. Sam Nartey George, has made served a public notice of supporting legal actions against the National Communication Authority (NCA) and the Communications Ministry if the aforementioned governmental organizations don’t think if extending the deadline for the SIM card re-registeration process.
Per the legislator, there should be an extension of the deadline specified for the re-registeration process due to the countless challenges people participating in the process have been confronted with.
According to Sam George, the people of Ghana deserve better amidst this registration process. In view of his candid disclosure, he has given the aforementioned state communication organizations till the end of the week to ensure the deadline for the re-registration process is extended.
He stated emphatically that, if by his demands are not met before the week ends, he will be forced to support a lawsuit against the Communications Ministry and its agency.
