Ghanaian lawyer, former Presidential Staffer and Former Deputy Minister of Information, James Agyenim Boateng has reacted to a story making rounds on social media attributed to Former President John Mahama with respect to the arrest and bail of Rev.Owusu Bempah.
The story has it that Former President John Mahama has stated that if he were to be the President ,there was no way Rev.Owusu Bempah would have been arrested.

In this regard, James Agyenim Boateng has taken to social media to make it categorically clear that the former president has not made any pronouncement on the arrest of Rev.Owusu Bempah.
He has urged the public to ignore the fake news.
It would be recalled that Rev.Owusu Bempah was arrested due to the fact that he besieged the premises of Agradaa with some thugs threating to deal with her. He was subsequently remanded in police custody for a week but later granted bail.
