George Eads (George Coleman Eads III) is an American actor best known for his role as Nick Stokes in the CBS crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
He graduated from Belton High School (1985) and also from Texas Tech University (1989) with a degree in marketing. He was also a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity in college. Before beginning an acting career, George worked as a copy machine salesman and also sold first aid and safety supplies for Cintas.

George traveled to Los Angeles, California, in a van he borrowed from his stepfather, to pursue his acting career. When Ead arrived in Los Angeles, he could only drive during the day because the truck had two broken headlights. He got his big break on the primetime soap opera Savannah. Although his character died in the pilot episode, he was so popular. The producers continued to use him through flashbacks, then eventually brought him back as the character’s identical twin.
George then starred in ER, and also worked on several made-for-TV films such as Crowned and Dangerous with Yasmine Bleeth in 1997.
