Ghanata Senior High School is a Category A public second cycle institution located at Dodowa in Greater Accra region of Ghana.

The school was built in 1963. Initially, it was built in Adidome, a very popular town located in the Volta region of Ghana.
The school’s maiden name was Gold Coast People’s College. Ghanata senior high school was founded by Reverend Osabutey Aguedze.

The school’s motto was “Carpe Diem” which means “Seize the day”. One notable alumni who is known to have completed Ghanata is Pascaline Edwards.
