Information gathered by Tapnewsgh indicates Ghanaian students studying abroad can afford to heave a sigh of relief because the Minister of Finance has released an amount of Gh¢100,000 for their stipends as well as academic and tuition fees.

This information was made public by the Registrar of the Scholarship Secretariat, Mr. Kingsley Agyemang in a recent interview monitored by Tapnewsgh on Monday, 29 August 2022.

During his disclosure, he stated that He aian students who are currently studying in countries like Morroco and Hungary claimed they have been refrained from attending lectures because of non-payment of fees.

Similary, other students in other parts of the world have also received notices from their hostels and apartments to evacuate their premises for non-payment of fees for accommodation.

In response to these predicaments, the Ministry of Finance has sent out an amount ranging from $300 to $500 to these students for their books and an additional $250 to $500 as monthly stipend.
