A projected reduction in the next pricing window for the month of December 2022 indicates all consumers of petroleum products can afford a sigh of relief.
Hitherto to the projected reduction which is expected to kickstart on Thursday, 1 December, 2022, some oil marketing companies have already began with reduction of their products in as early as 30 November 2022.
In relation to the purported reduction, GOIL which is one of the most acknowledged oil marketing companies in Ghana has already began with its reduction process as diesel now sells at Ghc18.86 instead of the initial Ghc 20.50 price stipulation.
In addition, they have reduced the price of petrol from Ghc16.82 to Ghc15.41. In alignment to the reduction measures taken by GOIL, “Total” has also followed in a similar manner reducing the selling price of diesel to Ghc 18.85 while petrol drops down to Ghc 15.40.
