Otto Addo is finally out with the major reason why he refused to add Racing club de Lens midfielder, Abdul Salis to his final selection ahead of the 2022 World Cup tournament.

In a recent disclosure made by the Black Stars manager, he indicated that the talented midfielder stated emphatically that he wasn’t ready to stay as a substitute when he agrees to join the Black Stars.

He added that, Samed’s refusal to stay on the bench after being offered a call-up emerged as the major reason why he didn’t bother to invite him for ongoing the pre-World Cup friendlies.

He stated that he called Alidu Seidu and Abdul Salis Samed for the Kirin Cup tournament but the latter declined the offer based on his decision not to be placed as a substitute for senior national team of Ghana.
