Aflao is a highly populous town located in the Volta region of Ghana. It is the coastal town in Ghana bordering Togo. Aflao is the 28th most populous town in Ghana.

Currently, the town is made up of 96,550 indigenes. In the early 1800s, the town served as one of the major markets for slave trade.
