I Campaigned Rigorously Over My Approval – Oppong Nkrumah Reveals
Information Minister-Designate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has recounted how he had to engage some MPs prior to an election on the approval of his nomination.
According to the Ofoase-Ayireb Member of Parliament, he had to take that moment serious like he would do in any election, since anything could have happened.

He made this disclosure in a radio interview sighted by Tapnewsgh, and described the outcome of the election as a big surprise, after he polled 156 votes.
He indicated that he didn’t have to be complacent, so he engaged as many MPs as he could and campaigned rigorously because, he didn’t want any Indian film experience.

Furthermore, he made it clear that he had his own target, so he did not expect the numbers he had.
