I Will Ensure The School-feeding Program Initiative Is Efficiently Utilized – Adwoa Safo Pledges
Minister-designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo has pledged to streamline school-feeding program for children in schools devoid of partisanship.
Taking her turn before the vetting panel at the Appointments Committee of Parliament today, the MP for the Dome-Kwabenya constituency indicated the school-feeding programme has some mishaps that she is willing to resolve with the aid of other stakeholders.
Adwo Safo indicated that if she is given the nod, she will make sure the Parliament and it’s committee get involved to help evaluate how best these mishaps can be diligently dealt with.
She said regardless of the party in control of administrative affairs, it is quite observable there are challenges.
Speaking on the issue of reports on non-payment of caterers under the school-feeding programme in recent times, Adwoa Safo said she is giving the committee her utmost assurance that, she will look into the matter, and find the best alternative through which the problem can be solved.
