Jackie Appiah is a Canadian-born Ghanaian actress. She was born on 5 December 1983. This means she is 38 years old as we speak.

Jackie has received a variety of awards which includes an award for Best actress in a leading role at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards.

Jackie Appiah is the last of five children. She spent her early childhood life in Canada and migrated to Ghana with her her mother when she was 10 years of age.

In 2005, Jackie Appiah got married to a man named Peter Agyemang and had one son with him. Jackie’s appearance on television became a regular when she was invited by Edward Seddoh Junior to play an active role in the popular television series named “Things We Do For Love”.

Aside “Things We Do For Love”, she has featured in a lot of Ghanaian movie that have done very well on the Ghanaian movie market. The movies include Beyonce, Ciara, Princess Tyra, Black Soul and Bitter Lesson.

Infering from the kind of movies she has acted in Ghana, it’s safe to say she is one of the most versatile actresses Ghanaians have ever seen.

Her outstanding movie acting role gave her the chance to win an award in Nigeria. In 2013, she won the best international actress award at the Papyrus Magazine Screen Actors Awards(PAMSAA).

Appiah has been accredited with so many ambassadorial deals in Ghana. Her face can be seen on many billboards in Ghana and television commercials.

A few years ago, she won the face of UB in a promotion she did for the brand on television commercials. Currently, she is the face of IPMC for commercials and billboards.
