The Social Security And National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), has revealed that the Ghana Identification Card will be used in place of the SSNIT ID.
This is as a result of the merger between the Trust and the National Identification Authority (NIA).

The merger between these two organizations is focused on ensuring easier transaction of customers, and a unified mode of performing electronic transactions.
Henceforth, the Ghana Card can be used to perform any transaction required by SSNIT.
