Kejetia Market is one of the widely recognized commercial centers in Ghana. This trading center is located in the Greater Kumasi region.
Currently, it is the largest market in West Africa.
Recent updates on the status of its security issues has led to the initiation of a new directive by the supervisor of the market.
To ensure safety of customers who patronize foodstuffs from the market, the managing director of Kumasi City Markets, Kofi Duffuor Addae, has indicated that, the market will soon start closing at 7pm.
Throwing more light on the recent decision taken, he said the initiative is expected to reduce cost of operation and ensure traders are protected as well.
This initiative will take effect on Tuesday, 1st June 2021.
