Kokrobite is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the capital city of Ghana.
It is located along the coastal plain of Ghana. Geographically, it is 25km away from Accra. Though isolated, it is the best places to spend a week due to its cool and calm environment.
Kokrobite is widely known for traditional sea fishing. It white sand makes it lively at night.

Kokrobite has a population ranging from 4000 to 6000 according to 2003 Ghana Statistics Department survey.
During the weekend, people from all parts of the country move to Kokrobite to enjoy their sumptuous meals and music carnivals.
However, in the month of May, people do not visit the beach because local people within the Kokrobite community celebrate the ‘Homowo’ festival. During the festive season, noise making and large social events are banned.
They are many hotel and beach resorts located around the Kokrobite community. Some of the resorts located around the Kokrobite community are the Bojo beach resort and the Royal Diamond beach resort.
