Kumawood Actor, Akwasi Boadi Explains How He Got The Name “Akrobeto”; See Full Narration

The popular Kumawood actor has finally come out to share with Ghanaians how his notable stage name “Akrobeto” came about.

According to the Ghanaian actor, the nickname was given to him by a colleague actor and stand-up comedian identified by the stage name “Nkomode” after he was relocated to the capital city by Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo Kantanka.

During his narration, he said that back in the days when he and Nkomode used to drive Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo’s commercial car, the vehicle was manufactured in such a way that it needed no bus conductor.

As such, Nkomode couldn’t hire to be his bus conductor because obviously there would be no way for him. In relation to this fact, Nkomode decided to employ to wash the car so he could pay him for washing the vehicle.

However, he also stated that he would wash the car and keep his money if Akrobeto fails to report on time.

He went to say that, Nkomode, out of the surprising feeling he had upon meeting him on time each and every day for the car washing task, decided to give him the name “Ako ab3to”, which in the Twi language means “returns to meet”.

The famous actor said eventually, the title “Ako ab3to” changed to “Akrobeto” which happens to be the title that continued to be his nickname and still stands as his stage name after that hilarious event.
