According to the popular Ghanaian movie director, the Kumawood actors’ guild is not déad. He believes the recent introduction of local television series is gradually resurrecting the movie industry.
In a recent interview monitored by Tapnewsgh,he touched on some relevant challenges facing the movie industry.
One of the problems he spoke about was the issue of proper remuneration for movie directors.
According to him, money given to Ghanaian movie directors are not sufficient, and that is why most of them feel reluctant to sell their contents out to television stations.
He urged the government to support the movie industry and stated that, it is the only the way the industry can grow and become a better one.
