Mahama’s “Do Or Dìe” Comment Is Not Offensive, It’s An Idiomatic Expression – Asiedu Nketia Tells Ghanaians


The General Secretary of the NDC, Hon. Asiedu Nketia has sided with John Mahama over his recent “do or dìe” comment made a few days ago.

After the recent disclosure made by Mr. Mahama, some citizens have mounted pressure on him to retract his statement which he has wholeheartedly objected to.

According to Asiedu Nketia, there is something in English language called “Idiomatic expression”, and this was what Mahama used in his recent pronouncement.

He made it clear that anybody who finds Mahama’s “do or die” comment treacherous is not an adept in the English language, and should resort to his dictionary to get more education on what the statement actually means.
