Technical advisor of the Black Stars, Chris Houghton has selected Chelsea’s former midfielder, Micheal Essien as his all-time best footballer in Ghana.
Houghton, who happens to be a sportsman who has met Essien on a few occasions spoke highly of the Ghanaian player while stating he is his favorite Ghanaian footballer.
According to the current Black Stars technical advisor, he had the pleasure to meet and speak with him on a number of occasions when he used to play for Chelsea because both of them were based London.
Per his assertion, Essien happens to be one of the most influential players whose talent and contribution has formed part of the turnaround in the fate of the current Chelsea dominance we are seeing now.
