In light of a recommendation from the National Association of Sachet And Packaged Water Producers, Ghanaians are expected to pay more for sachet and bottled water starting from Monday, 31 October, 2022.
Following this recommendation, sachet water which was initially sold for 30ps/40ps per sachet will now be sold at 60ps.
Additionally, the 500ml bottled water sold at Ghc2 will now be sold at Ghc2.50 while the 750ml bottled which is widely recognized as the medium size bottled water sells at Ghc3.50.
Similary, the 1.5 liter bottled will now be sold at Ghc5 per the new price list publicized by National Association of Sachet And Packaged Water Producers.
The said increment is as a result of the notable rise in fuel prices as well as costs associated with production of these sachet and packaged water products.
