Nicolas Sebastian Anelka popularly known as Anelka is a retired French football player who played as a main striker for the team a few years back.
He was born on 14 March 1979 which means he is 42 years as we speak. Anelka was born in Le Chesnay, a town located in France.

He began his club career at Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in 1995. He started playing for the club’s youth team at the age of 16.
Two years later, Anelka joined EPL giants Arsenal for £500,000 under the supervision of the then manager Arsène Wenger. In 1999, Anelka emerged as the team’s leading goal scorer for that particular season.

A few months after this impressive achievement, Anelka moved to Spain and played for Real Madrid for a £22 million transfer fee. In 2000, he moved back to PSG where he signed a six-year professional contract with the club.
After playing for PSG for over two years, he joined Liverpool on a short-term loan till the season ended. The next year, he moved to Manchester City for a £13 million transfer fee. At Manchester City, he was pronounced the club’s top goal scorer after scoring 14 goals in one season.

3 years later, Anelka completed a £7 million transfer to Fenerbahçe. In 2006, he joined Bolton Wanderers for a transfer fee of £8 million. 2 years after, he joined the Chelsea football club and scored his first league 2nd February 2008.
