Kwabena Kwabena has revealed that he had no form of reward for the campaign song he did for the ruling party in 2016.

Kwabena’s self made campaign song was used by the New Patriotic Party, to influence some supporters of the party, as well as the musician, to vote for the then-presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

Speaking in an interview hosted by Nana Aba Anamoah, he made it clear he wasn’t expecting any form of compensation for recording that song.

However, he felt it was appropriate they showed some form of gratitude for what he did because it contributed to their political success.
