In today’s second one-eighth stage set of contests, the unimaginable happened after the boys from St. Peter’s were shown the exit out of the 2022 National Science and Math Quiz competition.
Right from the onset of the contest, things looked very difficult for St. Peter’s as they struggled to get a comfortable lead moving into the final stages of the competition.
Though the competition was very keen, St. James Seminary Senior High School proved they were up to the task by beating the widely recognized title winners with a slender score margin.
After back-to-back action from both schools in the “riddle, riddle” round, the students from St. James stood tall with 49 points while St. Peter’s followed closely with 45 points with Drobo SHS trailing with 8 points to stay at the bottom.
