The current manager of the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo has finally come out to share his opinion on whether or not he could consider using Mohammed Kudus as a false no. 9 for the Black Stars.
In recent times, the Ghanaian midfielder has been recognized as a false no. 9 for the Ajax football club and his selection for this strategy has been working for the club as he has produced a high number of goals.
It’s in relation to this fact that coach was questioned on his opinion on whether he would consider using him as a false no. 9 for the Ghanaian team.
In response to the question posed, Otto Addo stated that the decision to use him as a false no. 9 was taken into consideration way before Ajax started with the approach.
According to Otto Addo, Kudus is a great attacker and using him as a false no. 9 wouldn’t be bad idea because he also sees him as a false no. 9 but he will be only be used as a false no. 9 depending on the game at hand.
Explaining further, Otto Addo indicated that, the current Black Stars team has numerous excellent strikers hence it will be a bit difficult to state emphatically that he will be used as a false no. 9 for the team.
