A private legal practitioner known by the name, Maurice Ampaw, has spoken about the court’s refusal to grant Rev. Owusu Bempah bail after his hearing.
According to him, he sees no reason why the pastor was not granted bail after the court’s proceedings because his case is not different from previous cases that have ended up culprits being granted bail.
The private legal practitioner said, over the past few years, there have been so many court cases where a suspect has been granted bail after the court’s proceedings.
In relation to this, he made it clear every offense is bailable under law, even murdér.
From his sentiments, the court should have acted in the country’s best interest by granting the man of God bail after his hearing.
