It was announced that residents of the Kasoa community and neighboring towns will experience power outages for 15 days.
This announcement was made by the technical controller of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA).

The temporary load-shedding operation which began on April 27, 2021, was part of a series of planned activities to allow technicians integrate a new power substation into the national grid.
Mr. Amuna said the 15 day schedule which ended today, was used to work on the new power substation, as well as observe and resolve any problems they encountered in the past.

According to the Electricity Company of Ghana, people of the Kasoa community may never see light in their lives again.
From a recent twitter post sighted by Tapnewsgh, ECG officially revealed that some people in Kasoa stole their ladder yesterday.

As a result of this, the Electricity Company of Ghana has publicly stated residents of the Kasoa community will never see light generated from hydroelectric power again.
