The Black Stars of Ghana are on the verge of making it to the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup tournament based on one condition.
They will be faced with the challenge of having to beat Uruguay in their third and final group game hoping their Portuguese group mates defeat South Korea by a fair margin.
If Ghana is able to achieve this feat successfully, they will have another tough team to beat in the round of 16 stage and that team is Brazil.
As it stands now, Brazil is likely to top their group since they are already on top of their group and would need to wait for the final results from Group H which is Ghana’s group to know their next opponent in the knockout stage.
If Ghana manages to qualify to round of 16 stage, they will be the best second placed in Group and will be required to face the Brazilian national because they came top of their group.
The Portuguese team will also be drawn against Switzerland since they will be placed second and be required to face the topmost team that qualified from Ghana’s group.
