Ras Mubarak Loses Woefully In The Ongoing Northern Region Council Of State Elections
Former MP for the Kumbungu constituency, Ras Mubarak, had no vote in the just ended Northern Region Council of State elections.
The former Member of Parliament wanted the opportunity to represent the Northern Region, on the Council of State, as a youth, to help in the addressing of issues concerning the youth of Ghana.
Prior to the election, the former MP in a post shared on his social media platform said he had done all the campaigning and hence leaves the rest to God through distinguished delegates.
He also indicated he has surrendered his purpose to the most High, because Victory comes only from God.
Ras Mubarak wasn’t lucky as he did not garner even one vote out of the 32 votes cast for the day.
In a post he shared on Facebook, Ras Mubarak congratulated Chief Col. Rt. Mahmoud Tahiru, who won the elections with 23 out of the 32 votes cast.
According to the results of the Northern Region Council of State Elections held today, Chief Pishegu Alhassan Andani garnered 8 votes, Chief Zung Mahamud Tahiru had 23 votes, Rashid Mahama had one vote, whilst Ras Mubarak had zero vote.
