Rotational Nurses And Midwives To Strike On 1 October; See Why


Per information gathered by Tapnewsgh, the Coalition of Rotational Nurses and Midwives have served a notice concerning their intentions to go on an indefinite strìke action.

According to a statement sighted by Tapnewsgh, these health workers have decided to embark on the strike in light of the government’s refusal to pay their allowances since February 2021.

A letter written to the National Labor Commission stated clearly that, the government’s refusal to pay them their allowances has ushered them into unanticipated hardship hence their decision to strike.

The industrial action is expected to commence on Friday, 1 October 2021.
