Sarkodie Finally Explains Why He Rejected NAM 1’s Zylofone Muzik Record Deal; This Is What He Had To Say


Ghana’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie, has finally come out to provide explanations on why he turned a juicy offer from Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM 1, to join Zylofone Muzik.

According to him, NAM 1’s intentions on getting him signed to his label was basically to build the Sarkodie brand to a great level.

However, he opined and sought for the betterment of the Ghanaian music industry and not his personal interest. In a recent interview monitored by Tapnewsgh, Sarkodie revealed that, this was one major reason why he eventually turned down the offer from the business mogul.

Per Sarkodie’s narration, he realized NAM 1’s aim was to take the Sarkodie brand to a different level. Divergent to this fact, the rapper stated that he wasn’t in support of the idea because his vision during their conversation concerning the signing of this contract, was for the greater good of the Ghanaian music industry and not his personal career projection.
