Some Communities In Accra To Experience Another “Dumsor”: Check If Your Area Is Included
The Electricity Company of Ghana has provided a timetable as it provides a hint of intermittent power cut in certain Accra communities.
According to reports made by the Electricity Company of Ghana, the disruption in electricity power supply will aid contractors to commence excavation work, to facilitate the interconnection of the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point, and the Kanda and Airport substations.
In a statement provided by the Electricity Company of Ghana, it provided in-depth analysis, which indicates the interconnection process will form part of the company’s financial and operational turnaround project, in conjunction with the Millennium Development Authority.
Communities that will be affected by this power outage include, Airport Residential Area, Accra Girls, ECG Roman Ridge District office, Kotobabi Polyclinic, Mamoobi and Alajo.
According to the timetable released by the Electricity Company of Ghana, these areas will experience a six-hour power cut daily, from 10 o’clock in the morning, to 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
It is advisable that people staying in these communities get prepared for this sudden development.
