Some people in the government prefers COVID19 stays with us forever – Ablakwa


Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa the Member of Parliament for North Tongu district in the voltq region of Ghana, writes concerning the mid year budget review

Going through the 2020 Mid-Year Review, it seems to me that some people in government would prefer that COVID-19 stays with us for a very long time.

A colossal GHS272million spent on fumigation alone (see page 66).

I sincerely hope that Parliament and anti-graft institutions would ensure that the corona fight does not become a corona heist. Interestingdays ahead, particularly, as we are told that a second phase of fumigation has just begun.”

This year, all the politicians are wild, everyone wants to win, lets pray for Ghana ,lets pray for a peaceful election. Because looking at what is going on just voter ID card registration see what is going on in our country, God have mercy.

The politicians themselves are home, and people are risking their lives for them, that’s very sad. Because of some little money you will see macho men doing unnecessary things during election, people taking ballot boxes away others too causing unnecessary confusion, it’s sad. We need peace.
