Stephen Appiah is a terrific footballer who is widely recognized by football fans in Ghana and across the world.
He was born to Mr. Bartholomew Nii Sackey Appiah and Mrs. Comfort Amootey.

The 40-year-old soccer player led Ghana to its first World Cup tournament in 2006. He was also part of the team that went to the 2010 World Cup hosted in South Africa.
During his time as a Black Stars player, he played as a strìker and an attacking midfielder. Appiah started his football career at Accra Hearts of Oak.

In 1997, he moved to Italy to play for the Udinese football club. He made 36 appearances for the club but scored no goal.

After playing for Brescia, he came back to Juventus and made 48 appearances for the club. He moved to Fenerbahçe in 2005 where he scored his highest club goals. He netted 11 goals for the club.
