Angel FM’s Director of Operation, Blessed Godsbrain Smart aka Captain Smart was suspended yesterday by the CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network(ABN), Dr. Kwaku Oteng, for his recent [email protected] on the government to do the right thing.

Following the news, the Angel FM journalist told Paul Adom Otchere in a recent interview monitored by Tapnewsgh that, some influentials in the NPP reported him to his boss for severely and fearlessly criticizing Nana Addo and Bawumia, hence the need for him to be benched for a some time.

High-ranking government officials of the NPP encouraged Dr. Oteng to summon Captain Smart to account for his relentless attacks on the new NPP government, prompting the CEO of the Angel Group of corporations to suspend the outspoken journalist.

Since yesterday, many Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment in both Dr Kwaku Oteng and the high profiled NPP members who are doing their possible best to shut up the media from criticizing Nana Addo.

In a Facebook post, the National Communications Director of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi criticize Dr Kwaku Oteng for caving into NPP pressure.

The latest person to join the bandwagon to lambast Dr Kwaku Oteng is Twene Jonas.

According to social media influencer popularly known as ‘the system is working’, Captain Smart did nothing wrong. He indicated that, the journalist is just a freedom fighter who is addressing the country’s problems, hence, he should be called back to duty.
