The Deputy Ranking Member of the Education’s Committee of Parliament, Dr. Clement Apaak has asked the Minister of Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta to provide explanations on the cost reported to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concerning the review of the Free SHS policy.
This call comes after the Minister hinted on a possible review of the policy by government in the forthcoming days.
In a recent disclosure made by Dr. Clement Apaak, he stated clearly that the free SHS policy as well as other policies related to social interventions will be reconsidered the government as time goes on.
Explaining further, he stated that these reviews had already been done and the purpose of its conduction is to ensure all the policies are carried out in an appropriate manner.
