A widely recognized Ghanaian sports analyst named Christopher Nimley has stated that he knew the Ghanaian team was lacking in the defensive section and the attacking field immediately he saw Baba Rahman and Dede Ayew in Ghana’s first eleven man squad against Uruguay.
According to him, the two players have always lacked the ability to stay on top of affairs till the latter parts of the game. Explaining further, he suggested Baba Rahman got a shield for him to be able to play his attacking midfield role properly.
Adding to this, he stated that Dede Ayew’s legs had become very soft hence his constant back passes whenever he got hold of the ball.
He suggested that, Dede should be made to rest or take up a subsidiary role in the team because he was getting tired and needed to rest or play a less tedious role in the team.
