U-23 AfCON Qualifiers: Black Galaxies Boosted To 2nd Round Qualification Stage; See Why


The National U-23 side of the Ghanaian national team currently known as the Black Galaxies have been exempted from the first round qualification fixtures of the AfCON tournament that will be played in Morocco next year.

This indicates Ghana will be put on stand by in anticipation for a second knockout stage match before sealing the deal to play at the third and final stage of the AfCON tournament that will be hosted by Morroco.

Aside the Black Galaxies, top-class football teams from Gabon, Nigeria, Sudan, Congo, Cameroon, South Africa, Ivory Coast and Uganda will also be place on the awaiting list patiently waiting for 20 least ranked to play against for a spot in the upcoming continental tournament.

The 10 teams that will qualify amidst the knockout stages will be made to play a 3rd round home and away knockout match that will see seven teams making it to the final tournament together with host Morocco.
