UCC Reopens Scholarship Portal For Distance Education Students

Management of the University of Cape Coast College of Distance Education, is giving eligible students the opportunity to access its scholarship application portal.

From a press statement endorsed by the Assistant Registrar and Financial Support Administrator, Alfred Ghartey, there was an indication the Students’ Financial Support Office, initiated under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, is awarding scholarships to qualified, brilliant but needy students for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Meanwhile, there are some laid down requirements that must be met before one can apply for the scholarship.

To qualify for the application of the scholarship, a student of the institution, must be a citizen of Ghana by birth.

He or She must also be someone who has completed at least one academic year of studies, in the institution.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate financial need and be willing to provide documents to aid the institution in making its decision.

The applicant’s GPA must be 2.5 or above.

All applicants are encouraged to add all documents required to make one eligible to access the scholarship.
