Recently, it was heard that the Minister of Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta has held talks with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Mrs. Kristalina Georgieva on the current economic challenges being faced by the country Ghana.

In relation to the recent meeting held between the two economists, the International Monetary Fund has declared its readiness to offer its support to the Ghanaian government to help stabilize its economy for stronger growth.

This was identified in a recent post shared by the Managing Director of the IMF indicating the group had met to discuss some constructive ways through which they can support Ghana.

According to Mrs. Kristalina, the IMF is ready to play their part in helping the Ghanaian authorities stabilize the economy by laying the foundation for stronger growth and development.
