We Don’t Know When Coronavirus Vaccines Will Be Made Available – Kwaku Agyeman-Manu

The Minister-designate for Health, Kwaku Agyeman-Manu has indicated the state has no idea of the date Ghana will have its first batch of coronavirus vaccines.

According to Mr. Kwaku Agyemang, the coronavirus vaccines are expected to arrive in Ghana between February and March, but the actual date has not been specified.

However, Mr. Agyemang said the steps required in the acquisition of the vaccines have all been taken. He said they have done the necessary registrations, processing and quantification.

Mr. Manu also indicated all they are doing is to get the country prepared, so that if it happens that the vaccines are in by tomorrow, they will get them.

He ended his speech by encouraging the communication authority to ensure Ghanaians adhere to the safety precautionary rules.
