Ruler of the Kwabre East traditional area and its indigenes are gnashing their teeth with indications their patience on waiting for development to reach their community has run out.
According to the Chief of Mampongten, Barima Saadi Ayeboafo II, his community has not seen a single tarred road and in addition cannot boast of a single second cycle institution owned by the government of Ghana.
The chief who sounded disappointed in the current government over their decision to pay deaf ears to them on developmental projects said he and his townsmen have been loyal to the NPP because looking at the years in retrospect, the people of his community have voted massively for the party.
Per the sentiments shared the Mampongten Chief, the people of Kwabre East will vote for the NPP even if their thumbs are cut off.
However, looking at how they have been treated in recent years, they will have to reassess developmental projects established in the community before sticking their necks out to vote for the NPP in the forthcoming election.
