Prof. William Baah Boateng has shared his opinion concerning the recent budget drafted before parliament.
In a recent interview monitored by Tapnewsgh, he made it clear that how taxes imposed on the expenditure of citizens are used is not the best at all.
He said in the foreign land, taxes levied on goods and services are used for the exact purpose for which they were imposed.
However, the situation in Ghana is totally different. He said in Ghana, government keeps imposing taxes but fail to use those to develop the country.
At the later parts of his disclosure, he made it clear that if the current government is bent on imposition of taxes, then the revenue generated should be used efficiently for the betterment of the country.
